Hello! My name is Carli Christiansen, and I’m the at-home test cook!
I feel like I’ve been cooking for a long time now. Obviously not a suuuper long time, but 13 years feels like a long time when you’re 32, okay!? I started cooking in college, and learned mostly from blogs and The Food Network. I recently completed the culinary program at Park City Culinary Institute, and now I’m ready to bring you along on my food adventures!
This is a space where I share recipes, cooking experiments, techniques, tips, equipment, successes, and some failures. If you’d like me to test something specific, let me know in the comments, and I will see what I can do!
Cooking is a creative outlet for me. I got a degree in Vocal Performance (Opera) from Brigham Young University. I’ve been singing since I was eight, and while I was getting my degree, I found that cooking was a great way for me to flex my creative muscles in a more low-pressure way. I particularly enjoy baking, and I just got a Bosch mixer, which I am obsessed with. I test my creations on my husband, Mark, and our two beautiful daughters.
Thank you for reading!
